D. Wilson Construction was proud to finish the South TX ISD Science Academy Innovation Lab project (Congressman Ruben Hinojosa Innovation Lab). The project consisted of a new 30,000SF, two story building with seven science/engineering classrooms and a large instructional lab located in the center of the building. The facility design was modeled after similar laboratories at Texas A&M University. The facility allows the students access to state-of-the-art equipment and allows for students to experiment with various materials and technologies typical of industrial research facilities. South TX ISD continues to be one of the highest performing districts in the United States and we are proud to partner with them to build facilities in the Rio Grande Valley that enhance the quality of education for our local students.
