The Hidalgo County Commissioners chose D. Wilson Construction Co. to construct new administration offices for Precinct 2 in Pharr, TX. The 43,000 square foot project includes five buildings and incorporates many “Green” features to reduce consumption. The building uses wind turbines and solar panels and includesrecycled materials in the flooring. The Owner hopes the complex will reduce energy consumption by 50% over a conventional building.
