Our San Antonio office recently kicked off construction of the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) North Fire Station. This 13,600 SF fire station consists of an apparatus room for two fire trucks, living quarters for five firefighters, administrative offices, education and training rooms, physical training and a full kitchen. The construction features Clerestory roof lines, structural steel framing with CMU and Face Brick cavity wall infill, Standing Seam metal roof, and wall panels.SAMMC is an expansion of the original Brooke Army Medical Center which dates back to 1879 when the first Post Hospital opened at Ft. Sam Houston.
